The deadline for the applications are set to 15 July, 2004 (extended deadline).

The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is the only organisation participating in the ESOF that actively brings in Asian participation to the meeting. The sponsorship would provide a unique opportunity for Euroscience to be a venue for Asian scientists and specialists to interact with their European counterparts in line with the 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission. The new framework outlines a European Research Area with an opportunity for collaboration between European scientists and those from developing countries in Asia.
