Date: 26 August, 2004 The current Olympic Games in Athens raise questions with regards to human physical limitations. How far can we take athletics and what factors determine strength and endurance? What affects does heat and other external factors have on the athletes and how important are our genes for performance and for the ability to improve training? These are some questions to be raised at this press briefing. Join a discussion on human limitations with Prof Bengt Saltin leading muscles researcher from Copenhagen Muscle Research Centre, Lennart Kaijser, Karolinska Institutet and Bo Berglund Chief Physician Swedish Olympic Committee.
